M4A Aging Services Advisory Commission
To meet the primary needs of older Montanans, we aim to create a strong network of professionals that enhance service provision and to connect with senior centers across the state to understand local needs and barriers to success.
Our goal is to connect each senior center across Montana to maximize their individual impacts and to reduce duplication of effort. We will achieve this by:
- Building a platform for senior centers to connect to one another to provide support and leverage resources
- Enhancing access to out-of-state resources to improve services
- Providing access to virtual trainings and events, such as the Governor’s Conference on Aging
- Improving legal, exercise, technology use, safety, and other classes for older adults within senior centers
- Increasing state and local fundraising opportunities
- Increasing senior center membership
- Reducing overall isolation in Montana’s older adult population
- Growing advocacy efforts for older Montanans and their service providers
